To Sakura: I made Mishka's Crystal Release into a KG for the Ayakana clan as I had discussed possibly doing beforehand. I do hope this is easier. Also, you will be able to now classify her elemental release under KG in her bingo book entry.
--------------------------
name | Ayakana
kekkei genkai | Shoton [Crystal Release]
kekkei genkai type | Elemental bloodline limit
identifiers | None.
description of kekkei genkai | This clan's ability is that of being able to use Crystal Release. Crystal is composed of earth nature and another currently unknown element. Crystal information can be found [here].
jutsus | Most jutsu known to skilled crystal users are custom-made, not ones passed down through the clan. The following techniques listed are ones that ARE taught through generations.
[li]name | Crystal Senbon (Kesshou Senbon)
type | Ninjutsu
element | Crystal
rank | D
description | The user forms a variable number of senbon using his/her crystal release. These senbon are usually transparent can be seen only when light reflects off of them. One can choose to make them visible using pink crystal, though.
cons | Not any more powerful than normal senbon.
[/li][li]name | Crystal Shield (Kesshou Tate)
type | Ninjutsu
element | Crystal
rank | B
description | The user forms a shield attached to his/her arm, made of crystal. It is incredibly dense, and very few things can shatter it. The shield is typically double the width across as her forearm. It can be made larger but it would take additional chakra. The shield, if damaged, will repair itself.
cons | Is used for close-range and projectile defense only. Requires a stream of additional chakra when repairs are being made.
[/li][li]name | Mirror Wall (Kikan Hei)
type | Ninjutsu
element | Crystal
rank | B
description | The user creates a wall of crystal in the air, which acts as a protective shield to block incoming attacks. This crystal is transparent, like crystal armor, and can only be seen when light reflects off of it. This wall is very dense and very durable--it will take just about any physical attack without breaking. If damaged, the wall will repair itself.
cons | Repairs cost additional chakra. More walls can be made, though typically 5 is the limit because of the chakra toll. Though they hover in the air and could technically be placed anywhere, it is easiest for the user to form them in a location close to him/her.
[/li][li]name | Gem Drops (Houseki Doroppu)
type | Ninjutsu
element | Crystal
rank | C
description | Crystallizing the water (or particles) in the air around him/her, the user forms hundreds of dime-sized crystal droplets and then spins them around himself/herself at rapid speed. These drops will reflect projectiles easily and may be sent toward an incoming opponent, pelting him/her with a barrage of crystal that would leave bruises on the skin.
cons | Best at mid- to long-range; not suited for close-range combat.
[/li][li]name | Crystal Rain (Kesshou Ame)
type | Ninjutsu
element | Crystal
rank | A
description | Hundreds of senbon are created in the sky. They hover in place as they accumulate, and are transparent during formation, making them hard to spot. These crystal needles will then rain down on all opponents with breakneck speed. These senbon are all charged with chakra and will do great damage if they manage to pierce any important area, such as the chest cavity or the organs. These crystals are very destructive and are effective in causing injury because they span the entire battlefield.
cons | Uses a very high amount of chakra. The user isn't immune to them, so he/she must take cover or deflect them with his/her own crystal so as not to suffer any injury when standing amidst the rain.
[/li][li]name | Gem Wolves (Houseki Ookami)
type | Ninjutsu
element | Crystal
rank | B
description | The user creates wolves made out of pink crystal. He/she strengthens them and then controls them using chakra. Their fangs and claws are lethally sharp, and each wolf can run just as fast as the user does. Their eyes glow bright red, and their fur is jagged, cutting whatever it touches.
cons | Uses a small amount of chakra to create but then continues to eat chakra the longer the wolves stay active. Multiple wolves can be created, but the more wolves on the battlefield, the more chakra is used.[/li][/ul]
history | The Ayakana clan has been within Kumo for about 30 years. It was started by a wandering group of shinobi that had originally resided in the harsh northern climates of the world.
These shinobi wandered for many years, gaining strength among themselves and learning to better their skill. Crystal Release came as natural to most of these men and women, though the ability seemed to slightly favor the females of the group. These individuals shared many techniques through the years, though they passed on only a certain number of jutsu through the ages. Most were expected to hone their abilities to custom-fit their fighting style and strengths and weaknesses. For this reason, clan members often have a high number of self-created jutsu, ones they perfected and use in battle.
This abundance of unique jutsu makes crystal users somewhat hard to predict. One may study their clan techniques but face a clan member who may use none of them, opting instead to use ones that he himself created. The Ayakana clan was formed on the principles of discipline and perfection. One could not hope to achieve success, members argued, unless the utmost dedication was given to practicing and mastering techniques.
This guiding law is illustrated in the ever-present attitudes of those in this clan. Ayakana males tend to be extremely strict and harsh. Though this makes bonding with them incredibly difficult, they produce worthy fighters and are generally very good leaders. Females of the clan are taught early on to be powerful but not quite as strict as their male counterparts. Women or men who marry into the clan are herded into this behavior early on. Children in this clan are raised in the laws of utmost priority--in respective order--perfection, perseverance, discipline, and power.
Though today the Ayakana clan is still a somewhat small bloodline, members from this clan that are gifted with Crystal Release are, most often, highly skilled fighters. One who underestimates an Ayakana may very well end up dead--rather quickly, too.
