” A painter paints the appearance of things, not their objective correctness, in fact he creates new appearances of things.’
→ appearance |→ eyes |
Naomi's eyes are an odd mixture of blue and green hues, creating a teal color, which has a tendency to turn out much more of a medium blue than it does green. Her eyes have the habit of revealing her emotions, such as they tend to look watery when she is sad, even if she isn't on the verge of tears, and then they tend to turn an even darker teal color when she is angry. Her eyes are accented by naturally dark, thick lashes. Her eyebrows, which aren't typically seen because they are fringed by her bangs, are naturally a dark purple color.
→ hair |
While her eyes are only a small oddity to her appearance, Naomi's hair is probably some of the oddest known to man. Her hair is, naturally, an extremely dark purple color, the unnatural shade something that she received from her maternal grandmother. Her hair remained this simple purple for what felt like an eternity before she added the extremely bright pink under layer, which she just added to her style, which has pretty much remained the same since her hair was long enough for her to do it. It is naturally straight, with eyebrow length bangs. The pink in her hair is easily visible, no matter what style her hair is done in.
→ height and weight |
Naomi is fairly slim, weighing it at 128 pounds, and standing at roughly 5'6 in height.
→ body type |
Whilst her body may naturally be slim, it doesn't lack any curvature in the least. She developed a little bit early than most females and her chest, since then, has grown to a 34D. Her stomach is firmed and well toned, which is something that is probably expected from a majority of the female shinobi, and her hips are wide, showing off her hour glass figure. Her legs aren't extremely long, being around average length, though her abdomen makes up most of her height. Her skin is naturally extremely fair and she burns rather easily and is fairly flawless, except a small kunai scar that stretched across her stomach from when she was attacked and then a few faded scars on her wrist that were from her own doing, which she admits she did stupidly.
→ proper equipment |Naomi's outfit is rather dark, which shows off her solemn persona. she wears a black mesh top under a dark purple strapless top. Her pants are also black and extremely tight, with bandages wrapped around her right thigh and a kunai holster on it. On both her elbows she also wears mesh. For accessories she has a dark purple and black striped bow in her hair and then a necklace with a locket. Inside the locked is a picture of her and her brother when they were younger.
→ identifiers |There are many things that can be used to identify Naomi, however the two most common would be her hair and her large bust. Her hair is such and odd shade of purple, not to mention the pink underneath, that it is hard for people to forget the eccentric style. Her bust is also extremely large, though smaller than the Godaime Hokage's, it is not by much and many men lust after them. She also has a long scar across her abdomen from where she was cut with a kunai when she was 16 years old.
→ strengths | lava release, seduction, ninjutsu, stamina, speed, ability to stay calm, chakra control, determination, genjutsu
→ weaknesses | strength, taijutsu, light drinker, stubborn, not a strategist, the mentioning of her brother[it's taboo], impatient, selfish, horrible liar
→ personality |To describe Naomi's personality is an extremely hard task, as even she doesn't know the fullest extent of it - there are situations she hasn't even thought of and reactions she never knew that she could make. So, to describe her fully is impossible, but she'll try her best to give you the details about the things that she does know about herself.
One thing that she is certain about is the fact that she is extremely temperamental. While you may think it's weird to start out by describing a negative trait, Naomi knows it's one of her biggest traits out of them all, so she finds it important to start there. Her temper is something that can be flared off by a numerous amount of things, one of the biggest being her lack of patience. Naomi lacks patience with anything from children to standing in line to even herself. She knows that she is a powerful shinobi, so when it takes her a long time to learn something she gets easily frustrated. She can take out her frustration on anyone too, no matter if you're her closest friend or a person that she doesn't even know - some people who know her well have nicknamed it WoN, or Wrath of Naomi. So, as a suggestion, it's not good to piss her off - you'll regret it in the end.
One positive trait that she possess is her ability to be optimistic, even in the worst case scenario. In her mind she can't give up until she is dead - there is always a possibility to turn the tides in a battle and she looks for every opportunity she can to do so. She prefers to look at the brighter side of life than the darker, even though her life was filled with darkness. This optimisticity, however, is not normally revealed to others as much as it is thought internally to herself - she doesn't normally have traveling companions anyway, so she doesn't want to creep people out by talking to herself.
Like indirectly stated before, another positive trait that Naomi has is her determination - while it may be a two way street, without her determination she would never have gotten even half as far as she did now. She has to be determined to make up for her lack of patience, for without that she wouldn't know even half the jutsu she does now or have mastered her Youton abilities. Also, her determination has gotten her through a lot of the hardships that she has faced in life - when it all seems hopeless to her than her determination kicks in and it manages to pick her up off of her feet and get her going again - it's helped her through the hardest times in her life. One bad aspect about it, however, is that her determination can lead her to possibly be reckless - she pushes herself hard because she's determined not to lose and protect the people that she loves.
One bad trait, however, is her inability to show emotion - she prefers keeping to herself and attempts not to make close bonds with other people because she fears losing them or having them hurt her. She's been this way ever since she lost her brother and then the thing with her first "love" only made it even worse - she is more the type of person that listens to people's problems than she would be to divulge her own. That is just her own way of attempting to stay strong and not look weak in the minds of others, or create too many bonds that she may possibly have to sever.

→ gear |Naomi carries around two katana - one has a silver and baby blue striped blade and matching hilt, while the other has a purely black blade, made of onyx, and a red hilt. The silver and blue striped one is named Raitoringâ, or light bringer, and the black one is named Burakkusakyubasu, or black succubus.
→ inventory |
→ fighting style |Naomi's style is very strategic - the mixture of the elements that she is able to create gives her a good offensive and defensive type. She uses her Katon & Youton for attacking and she uses her Doton(and sometimes her Youton) for defending herself. Since she isn't very strong, Taijutsu attacks are not her speciality, but she is extremely good at ninjutsu and her good stamina and speed allow for quick precision in the two areas.
→ elemental nature | Lava Release (Katon x Doton)
→ chakra control level |
Naomi's chakra control is probably somewhere close to that of Hinata Hyuuga and a pretty decent amount less than Sakura Haruno's, but it is about up to par with that of a normal medical ninja.
→ kekkei genkai | Lava Release
→ kg mastery level | Mastered.

“Come on in, sweetie! It’s starting to get cold!” A female voice rang through the empty village, calling for her young son whom, up until that point, had been content playing out in the snow, despite the chill that had begun to nip at his nose, fingers and toes. The little boy clamored on back into the house, slipping past his mother and removing his shoes and heavy winter jacket. The little boy looked up as he felt a hand touch his back and immediately a smile erupted onto his face as he saw his mother.
“Come on, I’ve got a surprise for you” she said. He eagerly followed after her, going into the kitchen. His father sat at the table, sipping gently at some chamomile tea. The young boy’s face erupted into a smile once more and he eagerly ran past his mother, jumping up into the male’s lap and hugging him contentedly. It felt like forever since he had seen his father, even if it had only been a mere week ago. He loved his father – a week was just too long, but when your father was a shinobi, leaving home for long periods wasn’t an option, it was a requirement. The older man smiled down at his young son, patting his blonde tuffs of hair gently, inciting a grin from the young boy.
This would not be the little boy’s only surprise, however, for sitting down on the table was a warm cup of hot chocolate, something his mother had prepared for him. He smiled briefly, looking up at the older woman. Despite being only four years old, he knew that she had done it, despite all the medics’ warnings for her not to be on her feet for too long. You see, this little boy was expecting a sibling. He didn’t know whether it would be a little brother or a little sister, but he had promised his mother that he would be the best older brother he could be – he would protect and be there for them no matter what!
The little boy sipped gently at the hot chocolate, which was just cool enough not to scald his mouth and throat. He still sat in his father’s lap, the older man sipping his tea every now and then between running his hands gently through his hair. His mother stood across from them, leaning against the wall, a cup of tea in her hand as well. It seemed as if this would be another happy family scene, the four of them together, sharing in the family spirit. All this, however, would be ended abruptly.
Everything was deathly silent in the room, save the occasional sipping of drinks. Then, the silence was shattered by the sound of glass hitting the floor. He jumped, nearly spilling his own drink in the process, and looked over to his
mother, who now leaned against the wall, clutching her stomach in pain. She gave one look to his father, who now plucked his young son from his lap, and the man knew.
“Stay here, my son. I’ll be back to get you soon” his father stated. The young boy frowned, but could do nothing but watch as his father wrapped his arms around his mother and, after slinging a shawl gently over her shoulders, lead the female out the door, leaving the boy standing in the kitchen, a cup of hot chocolate in his hand. This would mark the beginning of the end for this once joy filled family.
The boy sat by the living room fire for what felt like years to him, but was only mere hours. Everything whirred around in his head and he found it hard to think. What was going on? Where was his father? Why was his mother acting like she was hurt? All of this was still confusing to a young mind such as his. Light was now beginning to trickle gently in through the window as the sun began to make a morning rise, the snow from the other day having vanished into thin air. It was then, just as the boy was about to close his blue eyes and fall into a deep slumber, that he heard the familiar crack of the door opening.
His eyes jolted open and the boy jumped up, speeding over to where his father stood, smiling brightly up at the man. His father, however, did not return the smile back and simple picked up the young boy, cradling him carefully in his arms. Then the tears began to fall. What was wrong with him? All of this was beginning to become much too emotional and exciting for the young boy. The two of them stood there for a while, his father merely cradling him in his arms, crying into his shoulder. Then, all of a sudden, the man straightened up, using one of his hands to wipe his eyes and turning around, exiting the house; his son was still in his arms.
The young boy was still extremely confused, but in his state could not find any urge to ask questions. His father lead him down through the streets of Amegakure, most of which were littered with refugees and the poor. It didn’t take long for the two to arrive at the hospital, which was one of the tallest skyscrapers in the entire city. The young boy now buried his head into his father’s chest –he hated hospitals, always had. They, to him, were too white, too clean and a place that had way too much death. His father consoled him by patting his back gently and continuing on his walk. It would be several minutes before the two would enter a room.
“Open your eyes, young one.” His father whispered these words to he and the boy did so, turning around. His mother lay on a hospital, pale and breathing heavily. Within her arms, a pink bundle was wrapped up and the woman was clutching it almost protectively. His father put him down and he slowly walked over to where his mother lay, climbing up into the bed next to her, cuddling into her warm. His mother smiled, playing with his locks of silky blond hair and with her free arm maneuvering the bundle so the young boy could see it. He gasped in surprise – he had never seen a prettier site before. Small wisps of purple hair were on the baby’s head and her eyes were a brilliant mixture of blue and green hues. She looked so innocent and so fragile. He wanted to take her into his arms, but he was afraid he might break her. His mother smiled faintly at the site and then turned away, coughing, red blood coating her hand. She didn’t want her son to see her like this.
“That’s your little sister, baby. Her name is Naomi… remember your promise to me?” she asked. The young boy nodded, currently unaware of his mother’s situation. Naomi, what a pretty name. He knew, from this moment on, probably subconsciously, that this little girl was going to have him wrapped around her finger. He was going to be the best big brother possible - that was for sure.
“I remember, Mama. I’m going to keep it… I promise” he murmured. These words left his lips before he even had time to think about him and his mother smiled. She knew his words were true – she could tell from deep inside. Tears slowly slipped down her face and, with the last of her energy, she leaned up, kissing her son on the head, followed by her young daughter before she laid back, smiling. In her eyes, a bright white light engulfed her and she was going to a place where she knew she would be happy.
The young boy hadn’t even known what had happen – all he knew was that his father picked him up, followed by his little sister, and escorted them out of the room, crying. All the young boy could think of was the vow that he had made – one that was going to span an eternity.
‘I, Cloud Niigata, promise to protect my little sister, no matter what the cost”
September 7th, 17 years ago
Her eyes jolted open when she heard a loud crash outside her door. The young girl quivered under her covers for a minute before finally decided that it was safe enough to go out, so she threw them off of her and slowly crept out, looking up and down the hallway. She didn’t see anyone, so she continued on, heading toward the kitchen. As she entered, she saw her older brother splayed down on the ground, a thick liquid covering his light blond hair. She couldn’t help but giggle at the sight, causing the male to turn and look at her. He seemed surprised and quickly jumped up, causing some of the liquid to drip down onto his face. Again, she giggled.
“What are you doing, Oni-chan?”She asked him this, looking at him curiously. “I was just trying to make some breakfast for you before I left” he murmured softly the female, grumbling a bit and sticking his head under the sink, trying to wash all the goopy stuff out. The female looked at him curiously. “What do you mean go?” she asked. It took a minute for him to respond, as he finished washing the goop out of his hair first. “It’s my first day of the Academy, remember?” he asked. “Oh yeah! Don’t forget you got to teach me everything you learned when you get home!” she said, grinning from ear to ear. She had made him promise that several days ago, when she first learned that she would be without her brother for such a long period of time during the day – she was used to being with him every waking moment. Cloud chuckled and smiled, walking over and kneeling down, placing a gentle kiss on her forehead. “I won’t forget, imouto” he said, smiling. “I put your lunch in the fridge, ok? Just stay in your room once dad gets home” he said, patting her head gently and slipping his book bag on. The female nodded, watching as he began to walk out the door, tears beginning to brim her eyes. How was she going to live without spending all her time with her Oni-chan?
September 7th, 13 years ago
A broad grin settled itself upon Naomi’s face as her eyes flickered open, her alarm clock blaring in her ear. She reached over and turned it off, flicking her covers off and hopping out of her bed. She slipped out of her pajamas and into a simple black shirt and dark purple pants. She ran a brush quickly through her violet locks and then ran out of the room, heading toward the kitchen. This time, unlike the last that she woke up on for a time like this, a plate of steaming warm pancakes and eggs, along with a glass of milk, was set out for her. Her brother stood a few feet away, cleaning up the dishes - he had gotten used to doing this by now, since his father was nothing more than a drunk. One might even admire the boy for his hard work, like his little sister did.
He looked over and smiled at her as she took her seat, licking her lips. She smiled back and practically doused the plate with syrup- it was her favorite part, as it was sweet. She practically devoured the pancakes, too excited to wait - this time, just like it had been her brother's four years prior, was hers to shine. She handed him the plate and empty glass before running back to her room, grabbing her bag and then brushing her teeth quickly before running back, slipping on her new sandals that her brother had picked out for her. He stood by the door, waiting, and smiled as his younger sister came to join him. "Ready to go, imouto?" he asked. The female just nodded eagerly and the two of them headed out.
They lived only a couple blocks from the academy, so it didn't take them long to get there and they were probably a lot earlier than most. Her brother lead her to her class before heading off - he was a genin now, no longer station at the academy. He had been one for over a year, but he had still promised his sister he would take her and pick her up everyday - he wanted to give her some relief. She was the first one to arrive, save her sensei, and he gave her one last kiss before he headed off, leaving her to start. The female looked around slowly - it felt so odd being their, instead of at home. She gulped gently and slowly walked to an empty seat near the middle of the class room, settling her stuff down. What if the other kids didn't like her? What if they made fun of her? She knew from experience that kids of her age did not like oddities and she was definitely an oddity, with her long purple locks and teal eyes. Well, she would just have to find out.
It didn't take long before the room was bustling with new students and, as the bell rang, everyone brought their attention to the front of their room, where their sensei stood. He gave a boring lecture at first, but then he ordered everyone to stand up and introduce themselves. He went around the room, staring in the front and then finally it came to Naomi. He lips seemed dry and parch as she stood. "M-My name is Naomi Niigata, I like training and sweets, I dislike being alone and spicy food and my dream is to become as good as my brother" she said. Of course, it came out a bit oddly because she was so nervous, but she sat down quickly and then continued down the line.
Everything worked good to Naomi until her sensei started asking questions - she was the only one who knew the answer to every single one. Then, she was labeled a nerd. Great. Her first day and she was already going to be the class nerd. On her way home, she sighed. Her brother looked down at her as she did so, raising an eyebrow. "What's wrong, Naomi?" he asked, raising and eyebrow and looking down at her. "The whole class hates me already! They just think I'm some huge nerd" she said, pouting. Cloud just laughed and she kicked him in his shin. "It's not funny! I'm not going to have any friends" she said, pouting again, tears beginning to appear in the corner of her eyes. "No, you're gunna have friends, Naomi - just give it some time, they'll warn up to you, now come on, let's go home and have dinner" he said, leading them home.
-----------LATER THAT NIGHT---------------
Naomi, her brother and father sat down at the dinner table, eating the food that he had prepared. She noticed that Cloud had noted that there was something wrong with her, as he looked at her with a small look of concern on his face, but she knew that he dare not ask - not with their father around. Naomi wrinkled her nose as she looked over at the man. She had heard he had once been handsome, but she could never have seen that. His face, which had once been clean shaven, showed scratch, gray stubble and his hair was in dissaray. His teeth had yellowed and Naomi hated talking to him, for there was always some tone of resentment in his voice, not to mention the fact that his breath reeked of the alcohol - dinner was about the only time he wasn't seen with any in his hand. It was surprised the family had any money left, since their father had all together quit and their mother (to Naomi's thought) was nowhere to be found. The only one who seemed to be supporting them was Cloud, who got daily money from his missions, and before that they had gone off of savings.
This was not what was wrong with the young girl, however. She had seen so many little girls when they left today greeted by excited mother's and fathers. But where were hers? Well, it was obvious her father was probably in a bar, drinking, but where was her mother? She had heard a lot about her, but she had never been able to meet the one. The frown on her face deepend and she looked up at her father, biting her lip. She had to ask - she had to know.
"Daddy?" she asked, only recieving a mere grunt as the man looked up at her. She bit her lip hard once more and Cloud looked over at her like she was crazy. "Where's mommy?"
Those two little words made the air so thick you could probably slice it with a knife. Everything was silent as the group looked at each other, Cloud staring at his father, not knowing exactly what reaction was going to take place, whilst Naomi stared at him, waiting for an answer to a question that she had yearned to know for such a long time. She would not have to wait long to find an answer, however. It was definitely not one that she had hoped for.
Without even a moments notice, her father stood up quickly and flipped the table over, spilling the contents of everyone's meal and knocking it on top of Cloud. Naomi's eyes widened in fear and the man only took two large steps to get over to her. His eyes bugged out as he grabbed her by her collar, lifting her up until she was practically nose to nose with him. His breath reeked, she could smell it. "YOU WANNA KNOW WHERE YOUR MOMMY IS, YOU LITTLE BITCH?! WELL SHE'S DEAD AND IT'S ALL YOUR FUCKING FAULT" he screamed right at her face, tears beginning to brim her eyes before her threw her disgustingly at the corner, her head hitting it hard and a bright light flashing her eyes. Her father stalked off after that, leaving her with blood dripping from her head and her brother desperately scrambling over to try and help her. He was dirty, of course, covered in whatever was left over from the meal they had been eating, but that didn't stop him from taking his sister and cleaning her wound, trying to stop the blood before he wrapped some bandages around her head. Tears had been falling down her face the whole time and she looked down. No wonder she didn't have any friends.
She was a monster who had killed her own mother.
MAY 12TH, 10 YEARS AGO
Naomi walked home happily, a skip in her step. Why was she so happy? Well, she had just become a Genin! and a year earlier than her brother had! Of course, she knew that without him she wouldn't have been able to achieve what she had - he had taught her to mobilize her special Youton Chakra and use certain jutsu that didn't take much chakra up. Without him, she would have been just as clueless as all the other students. As she made her way home, she was stopped by some old boys, who also wore hatai ai, like herself, however, they glared down at her. They were older than her, of course, by two years. One of them pushed her down and she looked up, glaring.
"What the heck was that for?!" she asked angrily, glaring at him. He looked down at her angrily. "You think I'm gunna let some little girl like you show me up?! Well think again" he said, leaning down and grabbing her by her hair, pulling her by it and trying causing her to scream out in pain. She tried to use a jutsu, but the other to grabbed her hands and held them down. The boy's grip on her hair increased and she screamed again, calling for her older brother. She knew he wouldn't come - he was supposed to be out on a mission, for he was now Jounin - he had been so for about a month. The boy reared back and punched her in the face, but his grip on her hair prevented her from going anywhere. Tears slipped down her face and a large bruise began to appear. "What pretty hair" he murmured, pulling out a kunai and suddenly cutting it all away before kicking her down, leaving her there to wallow.
The female didn't know what caused her to lay there and cry for what felt like hours. Maybe it was the fact that, despite still being a genin, she was so weak. After all the training and hard work, she was still too weak to defend herself. The sun was beginning to set before she picked herself up. Her hair was in dissarray from the jagged cutting - no part of it was even. She began her slow walk, clutching her hatai ai in her hand. As she neared her home, the smell of smoke began to reach her nose and her eyes widened. Oh no! Running around the corner to where her home would be, her eyes widened. It was up in flames! She had to save her father! The female ran inside, coughing as the smoke inhilation began. She, however, was determined to find him, no matter what.
So, she ran around the bottom floor first, searching every corner she could. Her eyes began to water as she ran upstairs. There, she saw him, but it was too late. He was nestled in a corner, blood pooled around his body - his neck had been sliced from corner to corner and the female screamed. She slowly was beginning to get dizzy and, as she fell to the floor, she saw a figure who seemed to look down on her with a familiar pair of blue eyes. This was her last sight before she passed out.
She woke up later that night in the hospital, wrapped up in bandages. Someone had taken the time to smooth out her hair, which was now even and ended around the base of her neck, in contrast to where it had ended at her breasts before. She couldn't exactly remember what had happened, which is exactly what she told an ANBU member when he came in. The only things they had been able to retriever were what I had with me, which had been my bag of gear and my hatai ai, which he said had been still clutched tightly in my hand when I was found outside the building.
"I'm sorry about your loss, Cloud and Takashi were both great shinobi" he said. "Wait.. Cloud is dead to?" I asked, my eyes widened. He nodded solemnly. "We found this inside" he said, handing her a little strip of Cloud's uniform, the edges charcoaled and covered in blood. Tears fell down Naomi's face again. Cloud... he had been the only one to ever take care of her. "This means that whatever money you have in the bank is yours now and once you leave we'll find you a temporary home... I'm sorry for your loss" he said before disappearing in a cloud of smoke, leaving the young Ninja to her misery.
AUGUST 30th, 8 YEARS AGO
Finally, all that hard work had paid off. Ever since her father and brother had died, practically all her time had been devout to training to make herself better. She would find whomever had started that fire in her home and she would destroy them - it would take time, of course, but at the current moment, time was all she had. Whenever she wasn't out on a mission, which was happening more and more often, she spent probably 12 hours in her day just training, taking about 2 hours in between to rest and during that time she ate and relaxed. Then, of course, she spent the rest of her time sleeping - there was almost zero socialization involved. Why should she grow close to someone and always have to suffer with that lingering fear that one day they won't return? Well, she refused to do it all together. Even on missions she didn't socialize with her team mates.
Now, while most of the other's who had been in her class before she graduated were merely becoming genin, she was on her way to becoming a chuunin - she was right on track with her brother's record, which she found hilarious. She had always tried to beat him, yet right now she was on the same level as him. The female shook her head as she walked off, leaving her thoughts behind her. She now carried a chuunin flak jacket in her hand, but she doubted she would ever wear it - that wasn't her style, to say the least. Her clothing hadn't changed much from when she had first gone to the academy, save they had grown in size. She wasn't ready for a change - not yet anyways.
As she neared her apartment, she noticed something gold and glittery on the ground. She raised a brow and moved over, setting her flak jacket down to pick it up. It was a locked, shaped like a heart and made out of gold. When she opened it, however, she didn't expect to see exactly what she saw. Inside was a picture of her, much younger of course, and beside her stood her brother. Tears welled up in her eyes as she saw the picture. Her brother had been the only one she could depend on and now he was gone. She wanted to throw the locket, break it, do anything to keep herself from crying, but she didn't - all she did was pull it over her head. It adorned her nicely and she smiled, wiping the tears away from her eyes as she grabbed her flak jacket and walked inside.
She was unaware of a pair of blue eyes staring at her from out of the shadows.
MAY 10TH, 5 YEARS AGO
Naomi sighed as she sat back in the corner, clutching a drink in her hand. They were having a celebration of some sorts, but she didn't exactly know what for - it wasn't usually her type of scene, but she had promised Jet that she would be there. At the thought of the man her stomach twisted into knots and her face turned a light shade of pink, so she downed her sake to try and get relief from the feeling. Why him? She had been able to fend off people for years who were trying to build bonds with her, severing them before they had gotten too long, but not Jet - there was something about him that made her not able to sever it.
The female sighed as she refilled her drink and downed it again in one gulp - she didn't feel like thinking tonight - about anything. Everyone else was all out on the main floor, talking and jabbering with each other about things she didn't really care about, but then she saw him as he headed towards her and she felt like she was going to throw up - but in a good way, of course. He was extremely sexy with his dark hair and light-brown eyes - they seemed to go one in one with his light tan skin. He wasn't the kind you would expect Naomi to like, seeing as she was lithe and thin and he was the exact opposite, muscles rippling underneath whatever he wore.
She was drawn out of her thoughts as he took a seat next to her and she smiled politely. "Having fun?" he asked. She wanted to nod her head, but something told her that he already knew she wasn't. "Not really... it's getting better now" she said, looking at him with a small sparkle in her teal eyes. He merely laughed and shook his head. Then, the two proceeded to go through two bottles of sake with each other and get completely and totally wasted. Even then, however, he offered to walk her home - it was getting dark.
As she stood up, a large flag dropped down and everyone who wasn't drunk yelled, "CONGRATULATIONS!" Well, needless to say that Naomi was confused. She couldn't really make out the words all the well, but she just nodded and waved, burying her head in Jet's chest as the male lead her out. She would just have to find out what they were talking about tomorrow. She clutched to the male tightly as they walked, afraid that she would fall or do something stupid - it was fairly obvious that she was a lot more wasted than he, though both were at the point that their minds were buzzing.
Thankfully, Naomi's apartment wasn't far away from their previous location. It was only a couple blocks, though it still took them a lot longer than it would have if they were sober. The walked up the steps, her still clutching him tightly, afraid of tripping. Then, it was over and the two of them stood in front of her door. She finally took her head out of his chest and looked up. "Thank you for bringing me home" she said, though that probably wasn't what it came out has. He nodded and smiled, which made Naomi blush... he looked so cute when he smiled. She couldn't control herself as she leaned up, placing a light peck against his lips. It seemed to surprise him for a minute, but then he leaned down and pressed his lips against hers in a longer, much more drunkenly passionate kiss.
Then, he picked her up , gripping her tightly with one hand and the two of them disappeared inside.
---------THE NEXT MORNING--------
Naomi groaned as she rolled over, nuzzling herself into something soft, her head pounding. The softness was gone, however, almost as soon as she put her head down. Her eyes flickered open and she looked up to see Jet staring down at her, his eyes wide. "J-Jet?" she asked, confused. The male seemed to shake his head, searching around for his clothes while Naomi sat up, wrapping her blanket around her body, merely watching him.
"Congratulations on being promoted to Jounin, you passed the exam with flying colors" the male murmured as he walked out, looking over at her briefly before he exited, leaving a confused, yet happy, Naomi.
JULY 10TH, 5 YEARS AGO
Naomi bit her lip as she stood in the field, waiting for him. Things had been so awkward between her and Jet in the last two months that she had hardly been able to arrange this meeting - ever since that night. Now, she was about to make things 100% more awkward. You see, Naomi was only 15. Yep, 15, and Jet was probably in his early 20's, she wasn't sure exactly, but now, she was pregnant.
Yep, you read that right, pregnant.
She had found out about a week ago after going and getting her monthly check up at the hospital. It took everything she possessed to stop tears from sliding down her face - she didn't want Jet to hate her and she prayed to kami that he didn't. She didn't know exactly how he was going to react, but all she could hope for was the best as the man appeared before her. He was still has sexy as usual, but he seemed a bit more somber and shy as he approached the female. "Is there something you wanted?" he asked, his voice a little quiet. Naomi bit her lip, nodding her head gently. He raised a brow and the female took a deep breath before looking him straight in the eyes.
"I'm pregnant"
Everything was quiet. She didn't know exactly how long it was quiet before, but she could tell he was contemplating things extremely hard. "Do you need some money for an abortion or something?" he asked. Her jaw dropped. "What the hell, Jet! As if I would ever do something as inhumane as that! What I want is for you to stand up and take responsibility for what you did!" she shouted at him, angry. He merely shook his head. "I was afraid you were going to say that" he said, closing the distance between them in the blink of an eye. She didn't know this, but a kunai was resting in his hand. As he came upon her he reached out, slashing at her stomach, cutting through it like it was nothing.
Naomi could do nothing but stare up at him, her eyes wide. She could never expect him to do anything like this! He just looked down at her with cold brown eyes and moved back, the female falling to the ground, blood trickling from the wound. "I'm sorry, Naomi" he said, before disappearing a poof, leaving the female out to die. She tried to crawl, but all that did was waste her energy. Was this going to be her end? Probably so.. such a weak end for a Jounin. More tears trickled down her face as her vision blurred and she passed out.
---------TWO DAYS LATER--------
Naomi blinked her eyes open and looked around. She was so sore... was she still alive? The female groaned softly and laid back. After a few minutes, one of the medics walked in. "Oh you're finally awake, good. We were all worried about you, Naomi-san... you're extremely lucky that man found you and brought you back" the medic said, checking over the female's vitals. "I'm sorry we couldn't save the baby, Naomi-san, but you should be well enough to leave in a few days... do you remember who did this to you?" the medic asked. Of course Naomi remember - she would never be able to forget those cold brown eyes... but she just shook her head no. "Who saved me?" she asked the medic. The female just shrugged. "I have no idea, but he had the most amazing pair of blue eyes ever... he was extremely kawaii" the medic said before exiting the room. Naomi's eyes widened.
Cloud wasn't dead... did that mean he had killed their father and set the house aflame? She had to find out.
AUGUST 20TH, ONE YEAR AGO
Blood was everywhere. Blood coated the ground, blood coated her face, blood coated the trees, her clothes - there was probably not a place in the little clearing without any blood. She was the last one alive... they had been outnumbered, yet she had somehow survived. How, she didn't know, maybe it was her determination not to lose - she still had so much ahead of her - she had to find her brother, there were still so many questions that she had that were unanswered. All those things battling in the back of her mind had kept her from dying there and they would keep her from dying.
She looked over as she felt the presence of chakra and began to build what little she had up to attack, but then she saw the familiar pattern and she knew that they were on her side. "So you're the only one that lived... impressive" the man murmured and then looked over at her. He surveyed the scene for a moment and then once again glanced over at the poor and bloody girl.
"You've impressed me, girl... come with me" he said before he walked off, leaving the girl to either follow him or stay there.
Of course, she followed him.
DECEMBER 19TH, THIS YEAR
Naomi sighed. Things had become so stressful lately - with the Akatsuki now having control of Amegakure, blood shed had become a part of everyday life. She had been working her ass off to try an accomodate things - you see, the Akatsuki needed a tool, someone they could manipulate and you know who they picked? Yep, Naomi. She was powerful enough to become Ame Lady, yet not powerful enough as to where she could rebel them out.
Thankfully, however, they trusted her - they trusted her enough to let her out. She had said she wanted to try and find her brother. She promised she would do whatever they said, but she needed time to wander and find her brother so now, as Amegakure began to distance itself from her, she was sure she was going to do just that - she was going to find Cloud Niigata and interrogate the fuck out of him.

→ rp sample |A broad grin settled itself upon Naomi’s face as her eyes flickered open, her alarm clock blaring in her ear.
