Wide and a light, nearly white-blue, they show glimmers of emotion in certain situations. Always focused on what she’s currently working on and framed with surprisingly long, dark lashes. Niashi is a fairly easy person to read if one pays attention to her eyes, which isn’t often. More people pay attention to her chest, which oftentimes irks the young woman, and results in a broken nose and a shattered ego.

Long and reaching well past her waist, Niashi’s hair is her pride and joy when it comes to her appearance. She often wears it down despite her profession, but when on mission’s it’s tied in a high ponytail atop her head. Silver in most light, it takes on a blue sheen when looked at in the right direction, same with the other pure-blooded Kousetsu of her clan. Niashi’s hair, however, looks the most ethereal, as opposed to the stark white of her sisters and mother.

Somewhat petite for someone who should be intimidating, Niashi stands five-foot-five and weighs one hundred-eleven pounds.

Growing up she was hardly a tomboy and had to wait no time before getting her woman’s body at the tender age of fifteen, which was a great delight to the young shinobi. It helped her gain status in the field of undercover work and helped when she had to infiltrate bars and other such places where she needed to be an adult. Full-grown now, Niashi’s body is every man’s dream – full, lush breasts and killer legs with a face that would put a doll’s to shame, she often uses it as a weapon when it becomes clear that the victim is attracted to her.

Typically clad in a shortened custom kimono, Niashi hardly ever wears appropriate ninja attire ever since she "retired" from ANBU. The entire thing is made from a custom silk that most kunoichi wear on undercover missions, allowing the fabric to breathe while remaining warm in Yuki’s cold climate. The obi is long and ends just below her knees, often blowing in the wind. Thigh-high socks and knee-high boots complete the ensemble. [note: she changes her outfit a lot, but the style is mostly the same. She changes it during different seasons.]
When out on Akatsuki missions, she wears her cloak over her kimono, and the obi over that. She prefers to distinguish herself from the rest of them - though obviously she doesn't wear any Akatsuki memorabilia around Seishou Miyoko.

Her hair is the easiest one, as well as her jutsu – not many people wield ice style with as much skill and ease as she. Her katana is another one – she never leaves home without it. Niashi also has a very recognizable voice, and it is said that in battle, it sounds like that of an angel.

In a few words, Niashi would describe herself as collected, headstrong, determined, classy… with a temper that could put any drama queen’s to shame. The young woman doesn’t often like to get into fights or argue with people, and would sooner smack somebody than continue an argument that gets out of hand. She doesn’t hold back her emotions when she’s interacting on a normal day, but her personal life is hardly known to others due to the fact that it would cause a lot of complications and her family would become a target.
On the flipside, when she’s at home, she’s the epitome of mother hen. When her younger sister, Hiebie, was born, she was right there by the baby every day. She spent her life around the children of the clan and knows nearly everything there is when it comes to taking care of children. She dreams to have some of her own someday, but keeps that to herself.
In regards to her ‘fiance’, she doesn’t tend to talk much. She never agreed to the marriage nor does she want anything to do with him, apart from the occasional meeting for ‘adult’ discussions. She and Touketsu have been enemies since they were children, and will never get along, though he still insists on pursuing her.
A distant woman, Niashi has some loose morals, but has class above all else. She would never trash her own image, nor would she stand for it if someone tried. She’s hard to impress and refuses to settle – confident and headstrong, often to the point of mild arrogance. The woman knows she’s attractive and won’t settle for anyone who seems “under” her.
In battle she is hard to read and moves with cool grace, not sparing anyone the chance to potentially harm her. She doesn’t show emotion – or tries not to – when facing off against an enemy, but in a sparring match she would never have it in her to go all-out.
Years in the Torture and Interrogation unit have made Niashi fairly unfeeling, and she doesn’t show empathy to the enemy easily. She doesn’t get affected by begging or pleading, nor does she ever feel that she should stop because she’s pushing someone too far. On the same side of the coin, though, being a part of such a horrible series of events has left her mind with some permanent scarring, and she often tries to drown it out with cold drinks and warm bodies. Both of them grew up separately, but seeing as Touketsu was of the secondary branch, he was entered in the Academy, whereas Niashi was left to her own devices. The nine-year-old girl was less than pleased, and soon lost her agreeable and soft demeanour and replaced with fiery rebellion.
Her parents outright refused to allow her into the Academy, and the nine year old became the spitfire she’s remembered as from her teenage years – she did her training without complaint, but hated every second of it. She refused to speak to her parents or attend parties, instead focusing all her time in training so she’d become better than her rival. Touketsu had indeed noticed that Niashi was becoming more and more powerful and pushed himself to his limits, graduating to genin within a year and quickly following with Chuunin, reaching Jounin by age eighteen and ANBU by twenty.
Niashi’s skills far surpassed those of her peers, and the village offered her the rank of ‘special jounin’ - her clan’s default rank within the hierchy in the village – but she refused. The teen had no intention of joining the ranks on her clan’s terms, but would rather do it on her own when she reached age sixteen. Niashi pushed herself as far as she could, often passing out from exhaustion, but her skills were growing sharper and better than even her father’s, leader of the Kousetsu clan.
Her training came to a near halt when she turned fifteen – her younger sister, Hiebie, was born. The young woman had never loved something so much in her entire life, and vowed to protect the small child until the day she died. Niashi spent almost six months doting on the baby, playing with her and taking her everywhere she went, up until her sixteenth birthday when it was announced that she’d be wed to her rival, twenty-year-old ANBU member Kousetsu Touketsu. Niashi refused on principle, throwing the ring right back at his face and storming off the compound.
Niashi didn’t return to the compound for nearly a year, instead living just outside of Yukigakure and entering herself in the Academy. A sixteen year old genin was not unheard in the village - mostly because of the Kousetsu – but one as powerful as she was, driven by rage and a strong determination to be her own person, was a rarity. Niashi cleared the Academy and graduated to Genin within a month, pushing Chuunin within another six. She was an impressive sight – beautiful and powerful – and upon reaching the rank of Jounin at eighteen, she was requested to start specialty missions that utilized her etiquiette, knowledge of high-ranking families and natural charm. Niashi spent an entire year on undercover missions that ranged from working as a geisha or ouiran to taking the place of ladies at summits that would benefit in certain information.
The young woman returned to Yukigakure around her nineteenth birthday, and returned to her clan as a battle-hardened shinobi that walked and talked with a cool grace befitting of her rank in both her clan and within the shinobi corps. Niashi took an immediate liking to her five-year-old sister, and stepped in to personally train the girl and influence her to stay far, far away from the clan’s old-fashioned ways, encouraging her to enter the shinobi corps when she was ready. Hiebie was quick to agree and worked tirelessly on her jutsu, showing the same natural skill her older sister had.

This brought about much eye-rolling and protest from the two, who could barely be in a room together, let alone matrimony. The missions her team went on, however, were brutal and of high importance – Niashi’s cold fighting style and incredible skill gathered her the nicknames Tenshi Kousetsu Takai [Angel of Icy Death] and Haku Akuma [White Demon]. Niashi left her ANBU team after six months, instead joining the Torture and Interrogation unit.
This part of the ANBU corps were perfectly happy to have someone of her skills within their ranks, and quickly put them to good use – Niashi developed her Ketsuekiha Itetsuku [Blood Freeze] technique during her time in this unit. She was quite skilled at extracting information from her victims after their capture, and showed little to no remorse while doing it. To her, those who were captured were dangerous and a threat to her home, and she felt nothing upon torturing them and breaking their spirits.
Niashi remained in this unit for two years, and was known throughout the organization for the jobs she could do. On her days off she trained her younger sister, teaching her things that the clan heads wouldn’t necessarily approve of, much to Hiebie’s excitement. Little did anyone know that she was nursing heavy depression, the weight of what she was doing burdening her mind. Niashi turned to the bottle for comfort, which was soon followed by sex – of course, this was never brought up within the clan and kept silent within the village out of sheer fear of what Niashi could possibly do to them.
Touketsu took it on himself to try and stop her path of self-destruction but soon got caught up in the cycle – Niashi became somewhat of a sleaze when inebriated – and soon joined after her. Rivalry was put behind them when they went out together, and soon enough they could call each other friends – not that they’d ever admit it, of course. The most romantic feeling they had between themselves was mutual lust, and this was soon acted upon – and still is, on occasion. They were casual lovers for two years, until she was put on a special assignment within her unit.
The assignment wasn't really within her area of expertise - the uprising gangs had started to get too close to the village for comfort, and they needed someone on the inside. Niashi, being unbreakable under torture, was given an assignment that doesn't exist - become a missing nin and infiltrate the two greatest powers in the land: Akatsuki and Kurai. Rivalry was put behind them when they went out together, and soon enough they could call each other friends – not that they’d ever admit it, of course. The most romantic feeling they had between themselves was mutual lust, and this was soon acted upon – and still is, on occasion. They were casual lovers for two years, until she was put on a special assignment within her unit.
The assignment wasn't really within her area of expertise - the uprising gangs had started to get too close to the village for comfort, and they needed someone on the inside. Niashi, being unbreakable under torture, was given an assignment that doesn't exist - become a missing nin and infiltrate the two greatest powers in the land: Akatsuki and Kurai. She took the mission with a grim smile and shed her ANBU rank (an unlisted one, but I digress), departing from the village with nothing but the clothing on her back.
It didn't take much to find Akatsuki - she simply went up to their front door in Kumo, where she was welcomed with wary glances. She is currently working on earning their trust as she tries to find a way to get close to the leader of Kurai - Seishou Miyoko.
