Hinata's eyes are definitely what one would consider unique, unless she is placed side by side with her other Hyuuga clan members. Like everyone else in her clan, her eyes are a vibrant white color, tinged gently with lavender. Her eyes are extremely innocent and gentle looking, save when she activates her Byakugan, which makes the veins immediately around her eyes protrude greatly.

Hinata's hair is in a style known as hime-cut, which usually consists of straight, normally cheek-length sidelocks and frontal fringe. When she was younger, her hair was shorter, though still in the hime-cut style and now that is has grown her sidelocks end around her shoulders with the rest of the hair cascading down her back to end around breast-length. Her hair, despite some confusion about it being black, is dark blue, a trait inherited from her mother.

Hinata's body has definitely blossomed into that of a woman. where she seemed to be one of the least developed of all the females when she was young, Hinata has blossomed into one of the most developed. Her skin is still the same fair shade, however her body has shown and extreme growth in it's amount of curves and her bosom could be compared to that of Tsunade-sama, though it is obvious hers is somewhat smaller.

Her once loose jacket has tightened and she usually wears it open, revealing a mostly dark black top, save the mesh on her chest. Her pants are tight until you get around her ankles, where they get looser and she still wears the black shinobi sandals. She also wears a pair of white, fingerless gloves on her hands.
→ identifiers |The most identifying feature of Hinata's would be her eyes, as they are a symbol of the Hyuuga clan. That and her large bust are two things that most people would probably associate with her when they remember the Hyuuga princess. She also her littered scars over her arms and legs from various sparring and battles when she was younger, but most are hardly noticeable by now.

→ personality |Whilst she may seem like a simple individual, Hinata Hyuuga is a lot more complex than most people can comprehend. On the outside she may seem like a generally cheerful and optimistic person, putting other's before herself, but deep inside there are many things troubling her young mind that puts stress on her.
For example, Hinata has always felt the need to prove herself, much like Naruto. Her father cast her aside when she was younger, claiming she was much to weak to become the heir to the Hyuuga clan and instead bestowing that honor upon her younger sister, Hanabi. For that reason, Hinata always had a serious lack of self confidence in her abilities, at least until she met Naruto, who inspired her to always believe in herself and push herself harder so she could be strong - she didn't want or need to have other people protecting her, she wanted to be able to do it herself. Now that she has tried to establish this fact, she has felt that she has to push and work herself harder than anyone to make them believe and honor her wishes.
Despite that, though, Hinata is extremely kind. She would put everyone before herself, whether it was reckless or not. She has many people she cares about, among them Naruto, Kiba, Sakura, Shino, ect and pretty much everyone from the Rookie 9. She considers them, along with Neji, Tenten and Lee, to be her best friends, whether she talked to them often or not. She believes they all shared and unbreakable bond and she wouldn't hesitate to take a hit for any of them, ever if it meant that they would die. Sometimes her kind nature could be considered bad, as it makes her a bit for a push over with some people, but so far she hasn't really experienced that feeling because all of her friends are people that consider her a friend also.
However, now that the gang wars are happening, Hinata has changed. She is now, in her opinion, using what intelligence she got to the limit of what she can achieve. While before hand she was extremely nice and kind to a majority of individuals, she is a lot more selective now on those that she allows herself to get close to. She is also a lot less shy on what she wants and finds it much easier now, where as before she stuttered quite often and found it quite hard to make a request, fearing rejection. She has also sank a little bit into her shell, however, preferring to spend more time alone than with other people. For some reason, she fears getting close to someone, only to have them taken from her right under her nose.

→ fighting style |Hinata is definitely a short-range fighter, as pretty much the only techniques that she uses are gentle fist techniques and since they are a form of taijutsu that makes the user have to touch the opponents chakra points, then she has to be close to her opponent. Since she has to be fast to perform the techniques, this also makes her able to defend herself more easily, as she is a lot quicker than most of her opponents.

→ history |While many would say that Hinata's history started only 23 years ago, it started way before that. It started 49 years ago with the birth of a set of twins - Hiashi and Hizashi Hyuuga. When one was born just a few mere seconds before the other, her history was laid out. One twin - her father, Hiashi, would become the next great clan leader after his father and his brother, Hizashi, would just become a mere branch member because he was born a few seconds after Hiashi.
Next, when the man turned 26 years of age, his wife gave birth to a daughter. This little girl would be given the name Hinata, which means place in the sun. You know why? He thought Hinata was going to be his sunshine. She would be his world -just like him, strong and powerful. He wasn't aware at this point that she wouldn turn out like him, but not in the exact same way or in the way that he expected. As she grew older, Hiashi's faith began to slowly diminish about her ability. He started 'sparring' with her when she was only 3 years old, but the little girl was just so shy, so quiet and lacked faith within herself - he knew at that time that this little girl would not become heir. It was impossible. In fact, a few days after that was when Hinata was captured by the head cloud ninja. Her father was able to kill him before he got her out, but the damage was already done.
The cloud wanted her father to die, but they could not lose a clan leader, so instead, her uncle, Hizashi, died in his place. Hinata did not notice a change in her father, though she felt something was odd about him. He continued to train Hinata, using the last of the hope he had in her, his expectations high for such an heiress. However, after her younger sister, Hanabi, reached the age of 3, his interest seemed to diminish in Hinata. Soon, by the time she reached the age of 12 and joined Team Kurenai with Kiba Inuzuka and Shino Aburame, he lost all faith and handed her over to Kurenai for further teaching, realizing that Hanabi was much stronger than her. He even went as far as to take the title of heiress away from Hinata and bestow it up Hanabi.
After this, her relationship with her father became severely strained and often Hinata would spend time by herself, crying. Her father's lack of faith in her had caused her to have a lack of faith within herself - she felt as if no matter what she did, she was and always would be weak and frail. When she met Naruto Uzumaki, however, her opinion changed. She admired how, despite having nobody to rely on, he continued to believe that one day everyone would respect him and he would become Hokage. He even defended her from bullies once, despite being outnumbered greatly. This lead to Hinata beginning to have a lot more faith in herself and beginning to push herself harder and harder in order to achieve greatness and acceptance by her father. This admiration for Naruto Uzumaki lead to what Hinata would think of as love.
Despite being newly promoted as a genin, Hinata decided to enter the Chuunin Exams with her two team mates. At this point she still had a lack of faith in herself, but it was much less than what it had been before. During the first exam she was seated next to Naruto and, after seeing how much trouble he was having with it, offered to let him cheat off her paper, but he turned the offer down, which in a sense made Hinata proud of him.
During the second stage in the Exams, due to her Byakugan and Kiba's keen sense of smell, her team was able to quickly receive both of the scrolls that the needed and were one of the first teams to arrive at the tower. It wasn't until the preliminaries that she faced her biggest challenge. She was set to go up against her cousin, Neji, who was a prodigy of the Hyuuga clan. She almost gave up, her cousin berating her for her weakness, despite being in the main branch, but Naruto cheered her on and it was because of that she got to courage to fight against her cousin. Even despite having all her chakra cut off, she refused to give up and Neji almost killed her, however she was saved by several other higher ranked ninja there, among them her sensei, Kurenai. She was rushed to the hospital for a majority of the exams, however she was able to come out to watch Naruto fight her cousin, but she did not get to see the end because she passed out from trouble that was still affecting her.
Hinata did not get well until a few days before the Third Hokage's funeral, which she attended. Afterwards she went on several missions with both her team mates and other members of the rookie nine. Her relationship with both her father and Neji also increased, the latter sparring with her and trying to help her get stronger. Over the next two years, she would continue to train her hardest and actually became stronger, her flexibility and ability with the gentle fist increased greatly, along with her speed. She also developed a new style of the gentle fist, which makes the chakra around her hands take on the appearance of lions.
She was unaware of Naruto's return to the village until after he came back from their mission to rescue Gaara. She was extremely shy around the time, having not seen him in such a long time - what would he think of her? She had definitely matured, that was for sure, her body having gained curves and a decent pair of knockers, but that wasn't the point. When she first saw the male, she fainted in surprise - he had become even more handsome than he had already been! She eventually admitted her crush to him and the two went out on a few dates, but things did not last long - she realized that her admiration for Naruto was not love. They were only meant to be friends, so the two broke it off.
This allowed her to focus hard on her training, earning the rank of Jounin when she turned 18, having a genin squad of her own. However, this peace that was going on in her life did not last long. A group known as Kurai came in, taking over Konoha and removing the Hokage Tsunade from her thrown. Things were going downhill. She left the village with Sakura - she knew she couldn't take the oppression that she felt within the village. She wasn't going to be satisfied until it was the way that it had been before.
She has been living like this for awhile, traveling with the group known as Hozuki, under the leadership of Sakura Haruno. The group managed to stay at once base for awhile, as the two seemed more conflicted between each other than they did the Hozuki group. During this time in her life, Hinata has begun to realize a certain affection that she has for one of her team mates, Kiba Inuzuka, but she is unsure if he returns it and is unsure exactly how to respond to him. For the most part, things were going quite peaceful for her, despite the threat that has been going on, though she became a lot less trusting of people- she never knew who was going to be her ally and who was gunna be her friend. However, a year ago the Kurai gang attacked the base and a few ninja, Sakura Haruno amongst them, were captured. The group is currently doing it's best to come up with a plan to save her.

These words pained Hinata's thoughts as she sat within her bedroom, clutching a picture within her pale hands. How was this possible? Every little moment had played out in her head for so long, like a movie or a dream. It was something she had yearned for year upon year, yet never had the courage to do and now, everything was falling down, raining upon her. How had she miscalculated the feelings inside her own body? What was this blasphemy! In a spite of anger, something not usually shown within the young Hyuuga, she threw the picture across the room, the familiar crack of glass echoing through out the room. Almost immediately she regretted it.
Hinata rushed over, picked up the frame and sliding the picture back inside, picking up some of the broken glass, hissing as some of it cut into her palm. She quickly walked back over to her night stand, opening it and pulling out some bandages, wrapping them around her palm and putting what was left back in the drawer. Tears slipped down her eyes, but they were more tears of anger than they were of sadness. She had thought she loved Naruto for so long yet, when she finally had him so close to her, she dropped it all. You see, she had confessed to Naruto. She finally had gathered all the courage that she needed to confess to him that she loved him. She didn't know if he had returned this love for her, but he had agreed to go on a date with her.
Hinata had been so ecstatic back then. She had dressed in her best - a white sun dress with blue floral patterns adorning it. They had gone to Ichiraku, of course, but for some reason that was the most romantic place Hinata could think of. Their first date went well. Their second date was a little worse and their third had completely wiped her. It wasn't him, nor was it her, but a feeling deep within her had hit her like a shit ton of bricks. You see, during their last date, he had tried to kiss her. That touch of the lips was all she had needed to realize that they were not meant to be. It all felt too awkward to her, so she had simple apologized and ended everything - she had to do so before it all went to far.
For a time, she regretted it, exactly like she did now. But, she had come to realize it was for the best. Naruto would forever be more like a brother to her than anything of romantic interest - she had mixed those feelings up. She also realized that ending it right now was the right choice - there would be another girl out there to love Naruto and cherish him forever, so why would she deny that to him and return a fake love? That would be selfish of her. Just like him, she would find another guy out there - one that she felt right with.
