appearance |[/b] At first glance, Madara's sword appears to be just a longsword with a blade that measures out to 48 inches, with an odd green design through the middle of the blade. Although, with a simple surge of chakra sent through the blade, it can expand and contract, turning the sword into a bladed whip. With this expansion, it adds an extra 12 inches to the overall length, which helps with enemies that maintain distance.

description |[/b] This sword has two distinct abilities. The first is when Madara channels his chakra through the blade, it expands and becomes a bladed whip, in addition to adding an extra 12 inches to the overall length of the sword. The second "ability" is more of a convenience. Utilizing his near perfect teleportation techniques, Madara can have the sword seemingly materialize in his hand, and send it back when he doesn't need it.
weaknesses |[/b] Like with other attacks, Madara is required to become completely solid to attack, leaving him an open target. Just like with all other metal objects, incredibly intense heat can cause damage to the blade, making it warp or otherwise lose shape.
