NORMAL → While walking around between the tents of the rebels and otherwise, this young man”s eyes are a deep, vivid blue, comparable to the color of sapphires. They are expressive when he feels strongly, and blank while in thought. Their tones change ever so slightly to align with his moods, becoming a deeper, angrier dark blue in a bout of temper, and fading away to a lighter, almost sky colored shade when happy. In battle, these optics often scurry towards merging into their crimson read counterparts that quite often are taking over, almost becoming a purple violet in attempt to switch early.
KYUUBI → Seeing as Uzumaki Naruto's eyes hardly ever get truly furious without shifting into the shade of blood, crimson with a small slit of black, it would be hard not to mention this change. When forced into battle, which seems to be happening more and more often here as of late, the beast housed within his stomach is making its appearance if only found in the change of iris color and the widening of the whiskers on his cheeks. This usually bloodthirsty tint comes along with anger, and blazes like hell's fire until the end of a battle, or until he switches to something more controllable.
SAGE → And yet again, these eyes see another tone when confronted with a fight. After Naruto lets himself become one with nature, to use its power as his own via Sage Mode, his pupils completely shape shift into tiny black rectangles, longer horizontally than by width. The color of his eyes lose their more vivid blue, or red, and trade in for a golden yellow quite similar to the color of the golden spikes atop his scalp. They are calm and at peace, but determined. In this stage, he feels like everything is him, as nature is his chakra. His moves are stronger, and if anything, something attune to wisdom shows through those blocked pupils and odd irises.

Let's start with color. Golden yellow in hue, these brightly colored locks of hair attract attention. Not only because of their odd pigment, which might seem a bit illogical to wear in the shinobi world, but because of the alikeness it holds to his father's hair style as well. It is almost exactly like Minato's save for the fact his is shorter in the bangs, only reaching to right above his eyes, even still. He would rather them not be in his line of vision while he is fighting.

Uzumaki Naruto, excluding the two or three inches his spikey hair seems to give him, stands at about five feet and then inches tall now that he has finally exited most of puberty. He is only slightly shorter than his famed father, the only evidence that his mother only stood about a mere five foot five. Given his confident and outgoing attitude usually, and recently his determination and coldness with events going on, he often seems even taller, and more imposing.

Although he is well off in height, Naruto isn't all that hefty. Even considering the generous amount of taijutsu he uses, and the training his has forced himself to undergo to grow stronger, his build has only broadened slightly, and he is still slim and lean. He weighs approximately one hundred and fifty pounds.

Although he did rather like his pant/jacket combo from his teenage years, in more recent times (and lack of choices), Naruto has become a bit more traditional in his outfit, while also adopting a similar style to his father. A long-sleeved black shirt is topped over a black ANBU-styled vest, customized with a design of his own make-- a Uzumaki swirl in the center, with nine tails branching out. Pants the same colour reach halfway down his calf, before tucking into tradition black sandals. Over top of this all he is often seen wearing a short-sleeved maroon robe that extends to the back of his knees, with black sage designs.

The main features, at first glance at least, that set this young man apart are the trios of slashes, often viewed as whisker marks, set on each of his cheeks, and the vividly golden yellow spiky hair that tops his skull. These whisker marks get broader during fights, and his canine teeth more sharp. Also, if you get a peek under his shirt, you would find the seal that was put onto his stomach that holds back the Kyuubi, set by his own father.

→ personality |To say that Uzumaki Naruto has become a changed man in the past seven years would be huge understatement—but in the same breath, a complete lie. Despite the reputation as the number one knuckleheaded hyperactive ninja in Konoha lingering over his shoulder, Naruto has matured fairly well as the years have gone by, though he has still managed to retain many of his more childish and ‘obnoxious’ traits, often alternating between different personas depending on the occasion and mood.
Predominately, the Uzumaki that is seen the most now is the one that’s tired but determined, a less vibrant version of his former self. The pressure of trying to keep the Hozuki motivated to continue its rebellion against Kurai drains him severely when he’s alone, though he does keep up a façade of confidence and try to keep a smile on his face while he is in front of the people beneath him. He refuses to give up, a testament to the bull-headedness that he has kept core to his being, and thus he also refuses to show his waning drive in the cause he has so supported since he returned from his training hiatus to become his best friend’s lieutenant.

Naruto carries around a lot of seals and scrolls. After having researched into his family's specialty, and having it pointed out to him he was a natural with fuuinjutsu, he tends to have supplies on him to try to create and master new variations of seals. He also still wears the necklace Tsunade gave to him as a genin. Other than that, he just carries around the basic shinobi equipment.

In battle, Naruto is a dominating force. His obnoxious personality seems to carry over into his fighting, but he has shown ability to perform just as well in sneak attacks and such. Able to perform a multitude of different techniques, his fighting style is very varied except for the fact it always excludes genjutsu. Mostly, he is very physical and better suited for close combat, though he does have techniques now that make up for his previous deficiency. He utilizes kage bunshins almost constantly, using them in tandem with Rasengans, Sage Mode, and for sheer physical overpowering. Able to control more of Kurama's tails now that he's older and has come to a sort of impasse with the demon, he can also tap into the demon chakra in a controlled manner to a certain extent. The blonde has proven to be a quick thinker in battle despite his idiot reputation, which has been said to be a result of his younger years spent as a prankster.

Uzumaki Naruto was born on October 10th, twenty-three years ago, by the renown Konoha’s Yellow Flash, Yondaime Namikaze Minato, to the former Uzugakure resident turned Konoha nin Uzumaki Kushina, also known as the Red Hot-Blooded Habenero, and not so known as the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki. Later on in his life he would come to find out the real reason why he entered the world as an orphan was because of the circumstances surrounding his birth. The Kyuubi’s seal was weakened by his mother’s being pregnant, which made it susceptible to breaking unless it was reinforced while Naruto was being born.
Because of this, the Third Hokage and Naruto’s father set up a safe, secured location away from the village for her to give birth, with two midwives to aid the actual birth, a group of ANBU to guard the vicinity, and Minato himself to keep the seal in check. Immediately after Naruto was born, Tobi appeared after having killed the ANBU guards, and took the babe hostage. The masked man demanded that either Yondaime handed over Kushina, or he would kill his son. Tobi then created a clever distraction that forced Minato to teleport away using Hiraishin with Naruto to leave him at a safer location, which allowed him to successfully capture Kushina. By the time that Minato returned, Tobi had succeeded in extraction the Kyuubi, Kurama, from Kushina. The former Jinchuuriki miraculously survived due to her heightened vitality, and Minato took her to the same location as Naruto to take care of him while he battled Tobi.
After the battle, Minato was forced to bring Kushina and Naruto to the Kyuubi¡ªKushina used her diminished chakra to restrain the demon, and though she volunteered to have it resealed within her own body (though this would kill her in her current state), Minato instead suggested that he perform his Dead Demon Consuming Seal, and sacrifice his life to seal the beast inside of Naruto. After her initial objection, he convinced her to agree. The Kyuubi, having been fully aware of their discussion, used the chance to try and kill Naruto to prevent being imprisoned again. However, both his parents used their own bodies to protect him, stopping the demon’s claw from hitting the newborn. In these final instances, Minato used the seal, and while doing so also sealed away the last bits of both of their chakras inside the baby boy, so as to allow them to meet and talk to him later on life.
Thus, Uzumaki Naruto(as the Sandaime had given him his mother’s surname instead of his father’s in an attempt to erase any visible connection between Naruto and the Fourth Hokage) was orphaned. His father had requested that the villagers viewed his son as a hero¡ªthe burden of the demon would be heavy on him, especially so alone, and he wished that they would support him throughout his childhood. Despite this, most of the villagers did not acquiesce. The young Jinchuuriki was viewed as a monster because of the beast inside of him, as they believed that he personified the demon that had wreaked so much damage upon Konoha. However, Sandaime mandated that no villager speak of the truth, in hopes that the boy would be able to make friends amongst the other children, despite their parents’ attitudes. This plan failed—the boy was still made outcast by his peers, who followed in their parents’ example.
As time elapsed, there was only a handful of people that really seemed to care even marginally for Naruto—the Sandaime, Umino Iruka, the owner of Ichiraku Ramen, and his daughter, Ayame. Everyone else tended to look down their nose at him, and shun him.
