general rules[/color] We do expect a certain amount of respect from our members towards our staff and towards other role players. Please don’t bully or flame one another, and don’t harass – PM a staff member if there’s an issue.
On that note, don’t argue with staff. You will be verbally warned once and if you persist, you will be facing ban time. [/li][li] a v a t a r s / s i g s |[/color] Our site does have a “broken” avatar limit, but PLEASE don’t make them wider than 100 pixels. If you don’t know how to change it, staff will do it for you, but oh my god if you stretch the board I will personally end you. Try not to make them longer than 500 pixels.
Sigs will be allowed a 500 pixel width and 200 pixel height. Keep them tasteful! You can ask one of the graphics admins (Sakura, Angel) for help if you want a custom sig. [/li][li] l a n g u a g e |[/color] As an intermediate to advanced site (though we are beginner-friendly), we expect some literary skill. No one-to-two sentence posts, please – and ENGLISH ONLY, unless your character speaks a different language. We will point out spelling and grammar mistakes within an application, and have you fix them. Please reference [this] for help!
On that note, this site is PG-13 throughout, so swearing is okay – but please don’t abuse it. You will be verbally warned once about your swearing – it’s only okay when you’re Hidan! (Naruto and Kakashi are saddened by this rule. :<) [/li][li] t e m p l a t e|[/color] USE THE DAMN TEMPLATE. If you’re a canon I’d like it if you filled out the optional section, but you don’t have to. Feel free to change the colours, but make sure they work on the board – if they don’t, I’ll change them. Password to the template is SAKURA IS THE MASTER COMMANDER. If you don’t use caps, I’ll be sad.
Also, finish your characters before creating another one. I don't want a bunch of WIPs laying around.
That being said, you can't have a ton of OP characters, okay? I won't allow it. [/li][li] c a n o n s |[/color] Almost every canon character is available, but do keep in mind what the plot is. Canon Akatsuki are not current Akatsuki unless you apply for the position. Try to keep their gang alignment IC – or their neutrality, as it were.
In the first plot Naruto was twenty, so now he is twenty-three. Please age canons accordingly. [/li][li] c h a r a c t e r l i m i t |[/color] There is no limit on how many original characters you can make, but please limit yourself to TWO CANONS. If you try to apply for a third canon, you will be denied. You can’t take two canons that interact regularly – I, as Sakura, wouldn’t take Sasuke for obvious reasons.
We are also restricting the amount of plot-centric characters – you can have one lord/lady/kage, one missing-nin and one other S-ranked nin. You can have however many lower-ranked nin you want, but don’t OP them or staff will purposely nerf them. [/li][li] c u r t o s e y |[/color] Don’t godmod. Don’t kill everything in sight. Staff will be watching threads if godmodding si suspected. [/li][li] d e a t h |[/color] This board is death-enabled. Don’t tangle with someone out of your league and not suspect injury or death – death requests will be filed via PM to staff (admin, akap, angel, shinobi411) and your thread will be watched. STAFF JUDGEMENT IS FINAL. [/li][li] p o s t i n g |[/color] Please colour code your dialogue, keep it IC, and keep it at least a paragraph. Feel free to RP with yourself, but within reason.
