Though Suna was always nothing but sand and an ancient looking city, they too suffer the pain that all of the countries are going through. Akatsuki has taken over, despite Kurai's former position here.

Sub-boards: Sunagakure, Akatsuki Base

The rocky land of Iwa. Be careful of the rocks, but be more careful of the people who dwell here. Kurai has successfully made this land a stronghold, and have many bases here.

Sub-board: Iwagakure

Though the other villages seem to be failing, Kiri is still standing stronger than the rest thanks to their good water supply. With it, their crops are growing at a normal rate. It is considered junk territory due to it's lack of finances and therefore not wanted by Kurai - Hozuki holds a secret operations base here without permission from the Mizukage.

Sub-board: Kirigakure

Seishou Miyoko has long since come through and turned this land into a shadow of its former glory. However, the Akatsuki now claims it for their own, and hold many bases here.

Sub-boards: Kumogakure, Akatsuki Base

This land is home to Otogakure, the place that has always been believed to hold evil within its walls. If one seeks comfort here, they will not find it. This village, still run by Seishou Miyoko, was formerly Kurai headquarters, though is now just a main base to fall back on.

Far to the North, the land of Snow has managed to get away unscathed by Kurai and the Akatsuki, and remain a safe haven for those who can reach it and stand the cold. Permitted by Yukigakure's leader, Hozuki now pitches their camp here.

The other villages throughout the lands, including Kusa and Ame. Kusa is overrun by drug dealers and owned by Kurai, and Ame is under the influence of the Akatsuki.

This is a completely neutral territory located between the Land of Fire and the Land of Wind. Information about clans, other shinobi and gangs can be found here, as well as Anyou Tetsuya and other various 'clubs'; this is the Sin City of the shinobi realm. The Kurai's base is located here.

Deserts that can be found mostly in the Land of Wind, but scattered elsewhere as well. They are dry. And full of sand. And pretty much nothing else.

The stuff you find when there's nothing else, the plains extending across the Shinobi continent seem practically endless and go on and on and on, for miles. Usually fairly empty, but with the occasional farmland or small settlement.

Large mountain ranges span through various parts of the Shinobi lands, centered mostly in the Land of Clouds. These mountains are spotted with caves and lined with rivers.

Where the nasty things go, these places are full of quicksand, smelly dirt, and are just plain nasty overall. Why anyone would want to be here is beyond me.
